Good discipline is very important and parent cooperation is an essential part in maintaining good relationships within the school. We encourage students to have tolerance and understanding for others and to have respect for themselves, for others and for property. Some classes use the Discipline for Learning System, which is a reward system for good behaviour. Students may bring home record cards, which will give you information about your child’s attitude, behaviour and punctuality. Rewards are given half-termly or termly and may take the form of a trip out bowling, food or other treats in school such as music vouchers, phone credit, etc. In the junior section of the school, visual star charts are utilised to promote good behaviour. Each week at our ‘Get Together’ we select and highlight children who have made special efforts.
